| 1 [5:18] | Waqalati alyahoodu waalnnasaranahnu abnao Allahi waahibbaohuqul falima yuAAaththibukum bithunoobikum bal antumbasharun mimman khalaqa yaghfiru liman yashao wayuAAaththibuman yashao walillahi mulku alssamawatiwaal-ardi wama baynahuma wa-ilayhialmaseeru |  وقالت اليهود والنصارى نحن أبناء الله وأحباؤه قل فلم يعذبكم بذنوبكم بل أنتم بشر ممن خلق يغفر لمن يشاء ويعذب من يشاء ولله ملك السماوات والأرض وما بينهما وإليه المصيروَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ وَالنَّصَارَى نَحْنُ أَبْنَاءُ اللّهِ وَأَحِبَّاؤُهُ قُلْ فَلِمَ يُعَذِّبُكُم بِذُنُوبِكُم بَلْ أَنتُم بَشَرٌ مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ يَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَلِلّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَإِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |وقالت - And said,| اليهود - the Jews| والنصارى - and the Christians| نحن - "We (are)| أبناء - (the) children| الله - (of) Allah| وأحباؤه - and His beloved."| قل - Say,| فلم - "Then why| يعذبكم - (does He) punish you| بذنوبكم - for your sins?"| بل - Nay,| أنتم - you (are)| بشر - human beings| ممن - from among (those)| خلق - He created.| يغفر - He forgives| لمن - [for] whom| يشاء - He wills| ويعذب - and punishes| من - whom| يشاء - He wills.| ولله - And for Allah| ملك - (is the) dominion| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth| وما - and whatever| بينهما - (is) between them,| وإليه - and to Him| المصير - (is) the final return.| | ||||||
| 2 [24:31] | Waqul lilmu/minati yaghdudnamin absarihinna wayahfathnafuroojahunna wala yubdeena zeenatahunna illa mathahara minha walyadribnabikhumurihinna AAala juyoobihinna wala yubdeenazeenatahunna illa libuAAoolatihinna aw aba-ihinnaaw aba-i buAAoolatihinna aw abna-ihinna awabna-i buAAoolatihinna aw ikhwanihinna aw baneeikhwanihinna aw banee akhawatihinna aw nisa-ihinnaaw ma malakat aymanuhunna awi alttabiAAeenaghayri olee al-irbati mina alrrijali awi alttifliallatheena lam yathharoo AAala AAawratialnnisa-i wala yadribnabi-arjulihinna liyuAAlama ma yukhfeena min zeenatihinnawatooboo ila Allahi jameeAAan ayyuhaalmu/minoona laAAallakum tuflihoona | وقل للمؤمنات يغضضن من أبصارهن ويحفظن فروجهن ولا يبدين زينتهن إلا ما ظهر منها وليضربن بخمرهن على جيوبهن ولا يبدين زينتهن إلا لبعولتهن أو آبائهن أو آباء بعولتهن أو أبنائهن أو أبناء بعولتهن أو إخوانهن أو بني إخوانهن أو بني أخواتهن أو نسائهن أو ما ملكت أيمانهن أو التابعين غير أولي الإربة من الرجال أو الطفل الذين لم يظهروا على عورات النساء ولا يضربن بأرجلهن ليعلم ما يخفين من زينتهن وتوبوا إلى الله جميعا أيه المؤمنون لعلكم تفلحون وَقُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ يَغْضُضْنَ مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِنَّ وَيَحْفَظْنَ فُرُوجَهُنَّ وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ إِلَّا مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَلْيَضْرِبْنَ بِخُمُرِهِنَّ عَلَى جُيُوبِهِنَّ وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ إِلَّا لِبُعُولَتِهِنَّ أَوْ آبَائِهِنَّ أَوْ آبَاءِ بُعُولَتِهِنَّ أَوْ أَبْنَائِهِنَّ أَوْ أَبْنَاءِ بُعُولَتِهِنَّ أَوْ إِخْوَانِهِنَّ أَوْ بَنِي إِخْوَانِهِنَّ أَوْ بَنِي أَخَوَاتِهِنَّ أَوْ نِسَائِهِنَّ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُنَّ أَوِ التَّابِعِينَ غَيْرِ أُوْلِي الْإِرْبَةِ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ أَوِ الطِّفْلِ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يَظْهَرُوا عَلَى عَوْرَاتِ النِّسَاءِ وَلَا يَضْرِبْنَ بِأَرْجُلِهِنَّ لِيُعْلَمَ مَا يُخْفِينَ مِن زِينَتِهِنَّ وَتُوبُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا أَيُّهَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقل - And say| للمؤمنات - to the believing women| يغضضن - (that) they should lower| من - [of]| أبصارهن - their gaze| ويحفظن - and they should guard| فروجهن - their chastity,| ولا - and not| يبدين - (to) display| زينتهن - their adornment| إلا - except| ما - what| ظهر - is apparent| منها - of it.| وليضربن - And let them draw| بخمرهن - their head covers| على - over| جيوبهن - their bosoms,| ولا - and not| يبدين - (to) display| زينتهن - their adornment| إلا - except| لبعولتهن - to their husbands,| أو - or| آبائهن - their fathers| أو - or| آباء - fathers| بعولتهن - (of) their husbands| أو - or| أبنائهن - their sons| أو - or| أبناء - sons| بعولتهن - (of) their husbands| أو - or| إخوانهن - their brothers| أو - or| بني - sons| إخوانهن - (of) their brothers| أو - or| بني - sons| أخواتهن - (of) their sisters,| أو - or| نسائهن - their women| أو - or| ما - what| ملكت - possess| أيمانهن - their right hands| أو - or| التابعين - the attendants| غير - having no physical desire| أولي - having no physical desire| الإربة - having no physical desire| من - among| الرجال - [the] men| أو - or| الطفل - [the] children| الذين - who| لم - (are) not| يظهروا - aware| على - of| عورات - private aspects| النساء - (of) the women.| ولا - And not| يضربن - let them stamp| بأرجلهن - their feet| ليعلم - to make known| ما - what| يخفين - they conceal| من - of| زينتهن - their adornment.| وتوبوا - And turn| إلى - to| الله - Allah| جميعا - altogether| أيه - O believers!| المؤمنون - O believers!| لعلكم - So that you may| تفلحون - succeed.| | ||||||
| 3 [33:55] | La junaha AAalayhinna fee aba-ihinnawala abna-ihinna wala ikhwanihinnawala abna-i ikhwanihinna wala abna-iakhawatihinna wala nisa-ihinna wala mamalakat aymanuhunna waittaqeena Allaha innaAllaha kana AAala kulli shay-in shaheedan | لا جناح عليهن في آبائهن ولا أبنائهن ولا إخوانهن ولا أبناء إخوانهن ولا أبناء أخواتهن ولا نسائهن ولا ما ملكت أيمانهن واتقين الله إن الله كان على كل شيء شهيدا لَّا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِنَّ فِي آبَائِهِنَّ وَلَا أَبْنَائِهِنَّ وَلَا إِخْوَانِهِنَّ وَلَا أَبْنَاءِ إِخْوَانِهِنَّ وَلَا أَبْنَاءِ أَخَوَاتِهِنَّ وَلَا نِسَائِهِنَّ وَلَا مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُنَّ وَاتَّقِينَ اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدًا | |||||
| Words | |لا - (There is) no| جناح - blame| عليهن - upon them| في - concerning| آبائهن - their fathers| ولا - and not| أبنائهن - their sons| ولا - and not| إخوانهن - their brothers| ولا - and not| أبناء - sons| إخوانهن - (of) their brothers| ولا - and not| أبناء - sons| أخواتهن - (of) their sisters| ولا - and not| نسائهن - their women| ولا - and not| ما - what| ملكت - they rightfully possess.| أيمانهن - they rightfully possess.| واتقين - And fear| الله - Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| على - over| كل - all| شيء - things| شهيدا - a Witness.| | ||||||
| 4 [40:25] | Falamma jaahum bialhaqqimin AAindina qaloo oqtuloo abnaa allatheenaamanoo maAAahu waistahyoo nisaahumwama kaydu alkafireena illa fee dalalin | فلما جاءهم بالحق من عندنا قالوا اقتلوا أبناء الذين آمنوا معه واستحيوا نساءهم وما كيد الكافرين إلا في ضلال فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُم بِالْحَقِّ مِنْ عِندِنَا قَالُوا اقْتُلُوا أَبْنَاءَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ وَاسْتَحْيُوا نِسَاءَهُمْ وَمَا كَيْدُ الْكَافِرِينَ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - Then when| جاءهم - he brought to them| بالحق - the truth| من - from| عندنا - Us| قالوا - they said,| اقتلوا - "Kill| أبناء - (the) sons| الذين - (of) those who| آمنوا - believe| معه - with him,| واستحيوا - and let live| نساءهم - their women."| وما - And not| كيد - (is the) plot| الكافرين - (of) the disbelievers| إلا - but| في - in| ضلال - error.| | ||||||
