[9:69] | Kaallatheena min qablikum kanooashadda minkum quwwatan waakthara amwalan waawladanfaistamtaAAoo bikhalaqihim faistamtaAAtumbikhalaqikum kama istamtaAAa allatheena minqablikum bikhalaqihim wakhudtum kaallatheekhadoo ola-ika habitat aAAmaluhumfee alddunya waal-akhirati waola-ikahumu alkhasiroona
|  كالذين من قبلكم كانوا أشد منكم قوة وأكثر أموالا وأولادا فاستمتعوا بخلاقهم فاستمتعتم بخلاقكم كما استمتع الذين من قبلكم بخلاقهم وخضتم كالذي خاضوا أولئك حبطت أعمالهم في الدنيا والآخرة وأولئك هم الخاسرون
كَالَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ كَانُواْ أَشَدَّ مِنكُمْ قُوَّةً وَأَكْثَرَ أَمْوَالاً وَأَوْلاَدًا فَاسْتَمْتَعُواْ بِخَلاَقِهِمْ فَاسْتَمْتَعْتُم بِخَلاَقِكُمْ كَمَا اسْتَمْتَعَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ بِخَلاَقِهِمْ وَخُضْتُمْ كَالَّذِي خَاضُواْ أُوْلَـئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ |
| Words | |كالذين - Like those| من - before you| قبلكم - before you| كانوا - they were| أشد - mightier| منكم - than you| قوة - (in) strength,| وأكثر - and more abundant| أموالا - (in) wealth| وأولادا - and children.| فاستمتعوا - So they enjoyed| بخلاقهم - their portion,| فاستمتعتم - and you have enjoyed| بخلاقكم - your portion| كما - like| استمتع - enjoyed| الذين - those| من - before you| قبلكم - before you| بخلاقهم - their portion,| وخضتم - and you indulge| كالذي - like the one who| خاضوا - indulges (in idle talk).| أولئك - Those,| حبطت - worthless,| أعمالهم - (are) their deeds| في - in| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and (in) the Hereafter.| وأولئك - And those,| هم - they| الخاسرون - (are) the losers.| |

| እንደነዚያ ከናንተ በፊት እንደ ነበሩት ናችሁ፡፡ ከእናንተ ይበልጥ በኃይል የበረቱ በገንዘቦችም በልጆችም ይበልጥ የበዙ ነበሩ፡፡ በዕድላቸውም ተጠቀሙ፡፡ እነዚያም ከእናንተ በፊት የነበሩት በዕድላቸው እንደተጠቀሙ በዕድላችሁ ተጠቀማችሁ፡፡ እንደነዚያም እንደዘባረቁት ዘባረቃችሁ፡፡ እነዚያ ሥራዎቻቸው በቅርቢቱም በመጨረሻይቱም ዓለም ተበላሹ፡፡ እነዚያም ከሳሪዎቹ እነሱ ናቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | أنتم أيها المنافقون { كالذين من قبلكم كانوا أشد منكم قوة وأكثر أموالا وأولادا فاستمتعوا } تمتعوا { بخلاقهم } نصيبهم من الدنيا { فاستمتعتم } أيها المنافقون { بخلاقكم كما استمتع الذين من قبلكم بخلاقهم وخضتم } في الباطل والطعن في النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم { كالذي خاضوا } أي كخوضهم { أولئك حبطت أعمالهم في الدنيا والآخرة وأولئك هم الخاسرون } . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যেমন করে তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তী লোকেরা তোমাদের চেয়ে বেশী ছিল শক্তিতে এবং ধন-সম্পদের ও সন্তান-সন্ততির অধিকারীও ছিল বেশী; অতঃপর উপকৃত হয়েছে নিজেদের ভাগের দ্বারা আবার তোমরা ফায়দা উঠিয়েছ তোমাদের ভাগের দ্বারা-যেমন করে তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা ফায়দা উঠিয়েছিল নিজেদের ভাগের দ্বারা। আর তোমরাও বলছ তাদেরই চলন অনুযায়ী। তারা ছিল সে লোক, যাদের আমলসমূহ নিঃশেষিত হয়ে গেছে দুনিয়া ও আখেরাতে। আর তারাই হয়েছে ক্ষতির সম্মুখীন। |
| Literal | As/like those from before them they were stronger than you, (in) strength/power and (with) more properties/possessions , and children, so they lived long/enjoyed with their good luck/fortune, so you lived long/enjoyed with your good luck/fortune, as those from before you lived long/enjoyed with their good luck/fortune, and you plunged into/engaged in conversation as/like who plunged into/engaged in conversation , those their deeds (are) wasted in the present world, and the end (other life), and those, they are the losers . |
| Yusuf Ali | As in the case of those before you: they were mightier than you in power, and more flourishing in wealth and children. They had their enjoyment of their portion: and ye have of yours, as did those before you; and ye indulge in idle talk as they did. They!- their work are fruitless in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will lose (all spiritual good). |
