[9:39] | Illa tanfiroo yuAAaththibkumAAathaban aleeman wayastabdil qawman ghayrakum walatadurroohu shay-an waAllahu AAalakulli shay-in qadeerun
|  إلا تنفروا يعذبكم عذابا أليما ويستبدل قوما غيركم ولا تضروه شيئا والله على كل شيء قدير
إِلاَّ تَنفِرُواْ يُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا وَيَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ وَلاَ تَضُرُّوهُ شَيْئًا وَاللّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ |
| Words | |إلا - If not| تنفروا - you go forth,| يعذبكم - He will punish you| عذابا - (with) a painful punishment,| أليما - (with) a painful punishment,| ويستبدل - and will replace you| قوما - (with) a people| غيركم - other than you,| ولا - and not| تضروه - you can harm Him| شيئا - (in) anything.| والله - And Allah| على - (is) on| كل - every| شيء - thing| قدير - All-Powerful.| |

| ለዘመቻ ባትወጡ (አላህ) አሳማሚን ቅጣት ይቀጣችኋል፡፡ ከእናንተ ሌላ የኾኑንም ሕዝቦች ይለውጣል፡፡ በምንም አትጎዱትምም፡፡ አላህም በነገሩ ሁሉ ላይ ቻይ ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { إلاّ } بإدغام لا في نون إن الشرطية في الموضعين { تنفروا } تخرجوا مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم للجهاد { يعذبكم عذابا أليما } مؤلماً { ويستبدل قوما غيركم } أي يأت بهم بدلكم { ولا تضروه } أي الله أو النبيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم { شيئا } بترك نصره فإن الله ناصر دينه { والله على كل شيء قدير } ومنه نصر دينه ونبيه. |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যদি বের না হও, তবে আল্লাহ তোমাদের মর্মন্তুদ আযাব দেবেন এবং অপর জাতিকে তোমাদের স্থলাভিষিক্ত করবেন। তোমরা তাঁর কোন ক্ষতি করতে পারবে না, আর আল্লাহ সর্ববিষয়ে শক্তিমান। |
| Literal | Unless you rush/hasten , He tortures you a painful torture and He exchanges/substitutes a nation other than you, and you do not harm him (in) a thing, and God (is) on every thing capable/powerful . |
