بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [9:18] | Innama yaAAmuru masajida Allahiman amana biAllahi waalyawmi al-akhiriwaaqama alssalata waataalzzakata walam yakhsha illa AllahafaAAasa ola-ika an yakoonoo mina almuhtadeena
| إنما يعمر مساجد الله من آمن بالله واليوم الآخر وأقام الصلاة وآتى الزكاة ولم يخش إلا الله فعسى أولئك أن يكونوا من المهتدين إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ اللّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَلَمْ يَخْشَ إِلاَّ اللّهَ فَعَسَى أُوْلَـئِكَ أَن يَكُونُواْ مِنَ الْمُهْتَدِينَ |
Words | |إنما - Only| يعمر - will maintain| مساجد - (the) masajid of Allah| الله - (the) masajid of Allah| من - (the one) who| آمن - believes| بالله - in Allah| واليوم - and the Day| الآخر - the Last,| وأقام - and establishes| الصلاة - the prayer| وآتى - and gives| الزكاة - the zakah| ولم - and not| يخش - fear| إلا - except| الله - Allah.| فعسى - Then perhaps| أولئك - those,| أن - [that]| يكونوا - they are| من - of| المهتدين - the guided ones.| |

| የአላህን መስጊዶች የሚሠራው በአላህና በመጨረሻው ቀን ያመነ፣ ሶላትንም በደንቡ የሰገደ፣ ግዴታ ምጽዋትንም የሰጠ ከአላህም ሌላ (ማንንም) ያልፈራ ሰው ብቻ ነው፡፡ እነዚያም ከተመሩት ጭምር መኾናቸው ተረጋገጠ፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { إنما يعمُر مساجد الله من آمن بالله واليوم الآخر وأقام الصلاة وآتى الزكاة ولم يخش } أحدا { إلا الله فعسى أولئك أن يكونوا من المهتدين } . |
| Ara ikecmen kan leowamaâ n Öebbi, d wid iumnen s Öebbi akked wass aneggaru, iééulen, izekkan, ippagwaden siwa Öebbi. Ahat wigi ad ilin seg wid ipwanhan. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | নিঃসন্দেহে তারাই আল্লাহর মসজিদ আবাদ করবে যারা ঈমান এনেছে আল্লাহর প্রতি ও শেষ দিনের প্রতি এবং কায়েম করেছে নামায ও আদায় করে যাকাত; আল্লাহ ব্যতীত আর কাউকে ভয় করে না। অতএব, আশা করা যায়, তারা হেদায়েত প্রাপ্তদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত হবে। |
Literal | But (those who) tend to/visit God's mosques/places of worshipping God (are) who believed by God and the Day the Last/Resurrection Day, and kept up the prayers, and gave/brought the charity/purification , and did not fear except God, so maybe/perhaps that those they be from the guided. |
Yusuf Ali | The mosques of Allah shall be visited and maintained by such as believe in Allah and the Last Day, establish regular prayers, and practise regular charity, and fear none (at all) except Allah. It is they who are expected to be on true guidance. |
Pickthal | He only shall tend Allah's sanctuaries who believeth in Allah and the Last Day and observeth proper worship and payeth the poor-due and feareth none save Allah. For such (only) is it possible that they can be of the rightly guided. |
Arberry | Only he shall inhabit God's places of worship who believes in God and the Last Day, and performs the prayer, and pays the alms, and fears none but God alone; it may be that those will be among the guided. |
Shakir | Only he shall visit the mosques of Allah who believes in Allah and the latter day, and keeps up prayer and pays the poor-rate and fears none but Allah; so (as for) these, it may be that they are of the followers of the right course. |
Sarwar | Only those who believe in God, the Day of Judgment, perform their prayers, pay the religious tax, and have fear of God alone have the right to establish and patronize the mosque of God so that perhaps they will have the right guidance. |
H/K/Saheeh | The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and establish prayer and give zakah and do not fear except Allah, for it is expected that those will be of the [rightly] guided. |
Malik | The mosques of Allah should be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, establish Salah (prayers), and pay Zakah (poor due) and fear none except Allah. It is they who are expected to follow the true guidance.[18] |
Maulana Ali** | Only he can maintain the mosques of Allah who believes in Allah and the Last Day, and keeps up prayer and pays the poor-rate and fears none but Allah. So these it is who may be of the guided ones. |
Free Minds | Rather, the temples of God are maintained by he who believes in God and the Last Day, and he holds the contact-method, and he contributes towards betterment, and he does not fear except God. It is these that will be of the guided ones. |

George Sale | But he only shall visit the temples of God, who believeth in God and the last day, and is constant at prayer, and payeth the legal alms, and feareth God alone. These perhaps may become of the number of those who are rightly directed. |

Hilali/Khan** | The Mosques of Allah shall be maintained only by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day; perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat and fear none but Allah. It is they who are expected to be on true guidance. |
QXP Shabbir Ahemd** | Only those people are fit to administer the Masjids, the Centers of the Divine Order, who have unwavering belief in Allah and the Last Day. And, they strive to establish the Divine System, and to set up the Just Economic System of Zakat and fear none but Allah. They are the only ones who are rightly guided. |
