| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[72:11] | Waanna minna alssalihoonawaminna doona thalika kunna tara-iqaqidadan
|  وأنا منا الصالحون ومنا دون ذلك كنا طرائق قددا
وَأَنَّا مِنَّا الصَّالِحُونَ وَمِنَّا دُونَ ذَلِكَ كُنَّا طَرَائِقَ قِدَدًا |
| Words | |وأنا - And that [we]| منا - among us| الصالحون - (are) the righteous| ومنا - and among us| دون - (are) other than| ذلك - that.| كنا - We| طرائق - (are on) ways| قددا - different.| |

| ‹እኛም ከእኛ ውስጥ ደጎች አልሉ፡፡ ከኛም ከዚህ ሌላ የኾኑ አልሉ፡፡ የተለያዩ መንገዶች (ባለ ቤቶች) ነበርን፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وأنا منا الصالحون } بعد استماع القرآن { ومنا دون ذلك } أي قوم غير صالحين { كنا طرائق قددا } فرقا مختلفين مسلمين وكافرين. |
| Llan garane$ iâaôviyen, llan wid ur nemâin; ur naâdil iberdan. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আমাদের কেউ কেউ সৎকর্মপরায়ণ এবং কেউ কেউ এরূপ নয়। আমরা ছিলাম বিভিন্ন পথে বিভক্ত। |
| Literal | 'And that we from us (are) the correct/righteous, and from us (are) other than that, we were stages/layers fragments/pieces.' |
| Yusuf Ali | 'There are among us some that are righteous, and some the contrary: we follow divergent paths. |
