1 [6:93] | Waman athlamu mimmani iftaraAAala Allahi kathiban aw qala oohiyailayya walam yooha ilayhi shay-on waman qalasaonzilu mithla ma anzala Allahu walaw taraithi alththalimoona fee ghamaratialmawti waalmala-ikatu basitooaydeehim akhrijoo anfusakumu alyawma tujzawna AAathabaalhooni bima kuntum taqooloona AAala Allahighayra alhaqqi wakuntum AAan ayatihitastakbiroona
| ومن أظلم ممن افترى على الله كذبا أو قال أوحي إلي ولم يوح إليه شيء ومن قال سأنزل مثل ما أنزل الله ولو ترى إذ الظالمون في غمرات الموت والملائكة باسطو أيديهم أخرجوا أنفسكم اليوم تجزون عذاب الهون بما كنتم تقولون على الله غير الحق وكنتم عن آياته تستكبرون وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ قَالَ أُوْحِيَ إِلَيَّ وَلَمْ يُوحَ إِلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ وَمَن قَالَ سَأُنزِلُ مِثْلَ مَا أَنَزلَ اللّهُ وَلَوْ تَرَى إِذِ الظَّالِمُونَ فِي غَمَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ وَالْمَلَآئِكَةُ بَاسِطُواْ أَيْدِيهِمْ أَخْرِجُواْ أَنفُسَكُمُ الْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ عَذَابَ الْهُونِ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ غَيْرَ الْحَقِّ وَكُنتُمْ عَنْ آيَاتِهِ تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ |
Words | |ومن - And who| أظلم - (is) more unjust| ممن - than (one) who| افترى - invents| على - about| الله - Allah| كذبا - a lie| أو - or| قال - said,| أوحي - "It has been inspired| إلي - to me"| ولم - while not| يوح - it was inspired| إليه - to him| شيء - anything,| ومن - and (one) who| قال - said,| سأنزل - "I will reveal| مثل - like| ما - what| أنزل - (has been) revealed| الله - (by) Allah."| ولو - And if| ترى - you (could) see| إذ - when| الظالمون - the wrongdoers| في - (are) in| غمرات - agonies| الموت - (of) [the] death| والملائكة - while the Angels| باسطو - (are) stretching out| أيديهم - their hands (saying),| أخرجوا - "Discharge| أنفسكم - your souls!| اليوم - Today| تجزون - you will be recompensed| عذاب - (with) punishment,| الهون - humiliating,| بما - because| كنتم - you used to| تقولون - say| على - against| الله - Allah| غير - other than| الحق - the truth| وكنتم - and you were| عن - towards| آياته - His Verses| تستكبرون - being arrogant."| |

| በአላህም ላይ እብለትን ከቀጣጠፈ ወይም ወደርሱ ምንም ያልተወረደለት ሲኾን «ወደኔ ተወረደልኝ» ካለና፡-«አላህም ያወረደውን ብጤ በእርግጥ አወርዳለሁ» ካለ ሰው ይበልጥ በዳይ ማን ነው በደለኞችንም በሞት መከራዎች ውስጥ በኾኑ ጊዜ መላእክት እጆቻቸውን ዘርጊዎች ኾነው « (ለቅጥጥብ) ነፍሶቻችሁን አውጡ፤ በአላህ ላይ እውነት ያልኾነን ነገር ትናገሩ በነበራችሁትና ከአንቀጾቹም ትኮሩ በነበራችሁት ምክንያት ዛሬ የውርደትን ቅጣት ትመነዳላችሁ» (የሚሏቸው ሲኾኑ) ብታይ ኖሮ (አስደናቂን ነገር ባየህ ነበር)፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { ومن } أي لا أحد { أظلم ممن افترى على الله كذبا } بادعاء النبوة ولم ينبأ { أو قال أُوحي إليَّ ولم يوح إليه شيء } نزلت في مسيلمة { ومن قال سأنزل مثل ما أنزل الله } وهم المستهزئون قالوا لو نشاء لقلنا مثل هذا { ولو ترى } يا محمد { إذ الظالمون } المذكورون { في غمرات } سكرات { الموت والملائكةُ باسطوا أيديهم } إليهم بالضرب والتعذيب يقولون لهم تعنيفا { أخرجوا أنفسكم } إلينا لنقبضها { اليوم تجزون عذاب الهون } الهوان { بما كنتم تقولون على الله غير الحق } يدعون النبوة والإيحاء كذب { وكنتم عن آياته تستكبرون } تتكبرون عن الإيمان بها وجواب لو رأيت أمرا فظيعا . |

Assa, a ppeppuqeîîim s uâaqeb isneêcamen, ilmend n wayen teqqaôem $ef Öebbi, ur d tidep. U tellam tessem$waôem iman nnwen, $ef issekniyen iS". |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | ঐ ব্যক্তির চাইতে বড় জালেম কে হবে, যে আল্লাহর প্রতি মিথ্যা আরোপ করে অথবা বলেঃ আমার প্রতি ওহী অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে। অথচ তার প্রতি কোন ওহী আসেনি এবং যে দাবী করে যে, আমিও নাযিল করে দেখাচ্ছি যেমন আল্লাহ নাযিল করেছেন। যদি আপনি দেখেন যখন জালেমরা মৃত্যু যন্ত্রণায় থাকে এবং ফেরেশতারা স্বীয় হস্ত প্রসারিত করে বলে, বের কর স্বীয় আত্মা! অদ্য তোমাদেরকে অবমাননাকর শাস্তি প্রদান করা হবে। কারণ, তোমরা আল্লাহর উপর অসত্য বলতে এবং তাঁর আয়াত সমূহ থেকে অহংকার করতে। |
Literal | And who (is) more unjust/oppressive than who fabricated on God lies/falsifications, or he said: "Was inspired/transmitted to me." And was not inspired/transmitted to him a thing, and who said: "I will descend equal/alike (to) what God descended". And if you see/understand when the unjust/oppressors (are) in the death's/lifelessness' intensities/intoxications, and the angels (are) spreading/extending their hands: "Get your selves out, today you are being rewarded/reimbursed the humiliation's/disgrace's torture because (of) what you were saying on (about) God other than the truth , and you were from His verses/evidences/signs being arrogant. |
Yusuf Ali | Who can be more wicked than one who inventeth a lie against Allah, or saith, "I have received inspiration," when he hath received none, or (again) who saith, "I can reveal the like of what Allah hath revealed"? If thou couldst but see how the wicked (do fare) in the flood of confusion at death! - the angels stretch forth their hands, (saying),"Yield up your souls: this day shall ye receive your reward,- a penalty of shame, for that ye used to tell lies against Allah, and scornfully to reject of His signs!" |
Pickthal | Who is guilty of more wrong than he who forgeth a lie against Allah, or saith: I am inspired, when he is not inspired in aught; and who saith: I will reveal the like of that which Allah hath revealed? If thou couldst see, when the wrong-doers reach the pangs of death and the angels stretch their hands out (saying): Deliver up your souls. This day ye are awarded doom of degradation for that ye spake concerning Allah other than the truth, and used to scorn His portents. |
Arberry | And who does greater evil than he who forges against God a lie, or says,, 'To me it has been revealed', when naught has been revealed to him, or he who says, 'I will send down the like of what God has sent down'? If thou couldst only see when the evildoers are in the agonies of death, and the angels are stretching out their hands: 'Give up your souls! Today you shall be recompensed with the chastisement of humiliation for what you said untruly about God, waxing proud against His signs.' |
Shakir | And who is more unjust than he who forges a lie against Allah, or says: It has been revealed to me; while nothing has been revealed to him, and he who says: I can reveal the like of what Allah has revealed? and if you had seen when the unjust shall be in the agonies of death and the angels shall spread forth their hands: Give up your souls; today shall you be recompensed with an ignominious chastisement because you spoke against Allah other than the truth and (because) you showed pride against His communications. |
Sarwar | Who are more unjust than those who ascribe lies to God or say that God has sent them revelations when nothing has been sent to them, or those who say that they can also bring down (from heaven) a book like that which God has revealed? Would that you could see the unjust in the agonies of death when the angels will come forward with their hands outstretched to take their souls out of their bodies and say, "This is the day when you will face humiliating torment for the falsehood that you ascribed to God and for your contemptuously disregarding of His revelations." |

Today you will be awarded the punishment of [extreme] humiliation for what you used to say against Allah other than the truth and [that] you were, toward His verses, being arrogant." |
Malik | Who can be more wicked than the one who invents a lie against Allah, or says: "This was revealed to me," while nothing was revealed to him? Or the one who says: "I can reveal the like of what Allah has revealed?" If you could only see these wrongdoers when they are in the agonies of death and the angels stretch forth their hands saying, "Take out your soul! Today you will be rewarded with a disgraceful punishment for saying falsehood against Allah which you had no right to say and showing arrogance against His revelations!"[93] |

Fateh Muhammad Jalandhary | اور اس سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہوگا جو خدا پر جھوٹ افتراء کرے۔ یا یہ کہے کہ مجھ پر وحی آئی ہے حالانکہ اس پر کچھ بھی وحی نہ آئی ہو اور جو یہ کہے کہ جس طرح کی کتاب خدا نے نازل کی ہے اس طرح کی میں بھی بنا لیتا ہوں۔ اور کاش تم ان ظالم (یعنی مشرک) لوگوں کو اس وقت دیکھو جب موت کی سختیوں میں (مبتلا) ہوں اور فرشتے (ان کی طرف عذاب کے لئے) ہاتھ بڑھا رہے ہوں کہ نکالو اپنی جانیں۔ آج تم کو ذلت کے عذاب کی سزا دی جائے گی اس لئے کہ تم خدا پر جھوٹ بولا کرتے تھے اور اس کی آیتوں سے سرکشی کرتے تھے |

Ahmed Ali | اور اس سے زیادہ ظالم کون ہو گا جو الله پربہتان باندھے یا یہ کہے کہ مجھ پر وحی نازل ہوئی ہے حالانکہ اس پر وحی نہ اتری ہو اور جو کہے میں بھی ایسی چیز اتار سکتا ہوں جیسی کہ الله نے اتاری ہے اور اگر تو دیکھے جس وقت ظالم موت کی سختیوں میں ہوں گے اور فرشتے اپنے ہاتھ بڑھانے والےہوں گے کہ اپنی جانوں کو نکالو آج تمہیں ذلت کا عذاب ملے گا اس سبب سے کہ تم الله پر جھوٹی باتیں کہتے تھے اور اس کی آیتوں کے ماننے سے تکبر کرتے تھے |
