| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[59:3] | Walawla an kataba AllahuAAalayhimu aljalaa laAAaththabahum fee alddunyawalahum fee al-akhirati AAathabu alnnari
|  ولولا أن كتب الله عليهم الجلاء لعذبهم في الدنيا ولهم في الآخرة عذاب النار
وَلَوْلَا أَن كَتَبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْجَلَاءَ لَعَذَّبَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَلَهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ عَذَابُ النَّارِ |
| Words | |ولولا - And if not| أن - [that]| كتب - (had) decreed| الله - Allah| عليهم - for them| الجلاء - the exile,| لعذبهم - certainly He (would) have punished them| في - in| الدنيا - the world,| ولهم - and for them| في - in| الآخرة - the Hereafter| عذاب - (is) a punishment| النار - (of) the Fire.| |

| በእነርሱም ላይ አላህ ከአገር መውጣትን ባልጻፈ ኖሮ በቅርቢቱ ዓለም በቀጣቸው ነበር፡፡ ለእነርሱም በመጨረሻይቱ (ዓለም) የእሳት ቅጣት አልላቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ولولا أن كتب الله } قضى { عليهم الجلاء } الخروج من الوطن { لعذبهم في الدنيا } بالقتل والسبي كما فعل بقريظة من اليهود { ولهم في الآخرة عذاب النار } . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আল্লাহ যদি তাদের জন্যে নির্বাসন অবধারিত না করতেন, তবে তাদেরকে দুনিয়াতে শাস্তি দিতেন। আর পরকালে তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে জাহান্নামের আযাব। |
| Literal | Where it not for that (E) God wrote/decreed the departure/moving out on them, He would have tortured them in the present world, and for them in the end (other life is) the fire's torture. |
| Yusuf Ali | And had it not been that Allah had decreed banishment for them, He would certainly have punished them in this world: And in the Hereafter they shall (certainly) have the Punishment of the Fire. |
| Pickthal | And if Allah had not decreed migration for them, He verily would have punished them in the world, and theirs in the Hereafter is the punishment of the Fire. |
