1 [34:10] | Walaqad atayna dawoodaminna fadlan ya jibalu awwibeemaAAahu waalttayra waalanna lahu alhadeeda
| ولقد آتينا داوود منا فضلا يا جبال أوبي معه والطير وألنا له الحديد وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ مِنَّا فَضْلًا يَا جِبَالُ أَوِّبِي مَعَهُ وَالطَّيْرَ وَأَلَنَّا لَهُ الْحَدِيدَ |
Words | |ولقد - And certainly,| آتينا - We gave| داوود - Dawood| منا - from Us| فضلا - Bounty.| يا - O| جبال - "O mountains!| أوبي - Repeat praises| معه - with him,| والطير - and the birds."| وألنا - And We made pliable| له - for him| الحديد - [the] iron,| |

| ለዳውድም ከእኛ የኾነን ችሮታ በእርግጥ ሰጠነው፡፡ (አልንም)፡-«ተራራዎች ሆይ! ከእርሱ ጋር ውዳሴን መላልሱ፡፡ በራሪዎችንም (ገራንለት)፡፡ ብረትንም ለእርሱ አለዘብንለት፡፡» |
آل الجلالين | { ولقد آتينا داود منا فضلا } نبوة وكتابا وقلنا { يا جبال أوّبي } رجعي { معه } بالتسبيح { والطير } بالنصب عطفا على محل الجبال، أي ودعوناها تسبح معه { وألنا له الحديد } فكان في يده كالعجين. |

মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আমি দাউদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেছিলাম এই আদেশ মর্মে যে, হে পর্বতমালা, তোমরা দাউদের সাথে আমার পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা কর এবং হে পক্ষী সকল, তোমরাও। আমি তাঁর জন্য লৌহকে নরম করে ছিলাম। |
Literal | And We had (E) given/brought David grace/favour , from Us: "You mountains , return with him, and the birds/bird." And We softened/flexed/smoothened for him the iron. |
Yusuf Ali | We bestowed Grace aforetime on David from ourselves: "O ye Mountains! Sing ye back the Praises of Allah with him! and ye birds (also)! And We made the iron soft for him;- |
