| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[34:53] | Waqad kafaroo bihi min qablu wayaqthifoonabialghaybi min makanin baAAeedin
|  وقد كفروا به من قبل ويقذفون بالغيب من مكان بعيد
وَقَدْ كَفَرُوا بِهِ مِن قَبْلُ وَيَقْذِفُونَ بِالْغَيْبِ مِن مَّكَانٍ بَعِيدٍ |
| Words | |وقد - And certainly,| كفروا - they disbelieved| به - in it| من - before.| قبل - before.| ويقذفون - And they utter conjectures| بالغيب - about the unseen| من - from| مكان - a place| بعيد - far off.| |

| በፊትም በእርሱ በእርግጥ ክደዋል፡፡ ከሩቅ ስፍራም በግምት ንግግርን ይጥላሉ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وقد كفروا به من قبل } في الدنيا { ويقذفون } يرمون { بالغيب من مكان بعيد } أي بما غاب علمه عنهم غيبة بعيدة حيث قالوا في النبي ساحر، شاعر، كاهن، وفي القرآن سحر، شعر، كهانة . |
| Ni$ llan zik, nekôen t. Rran akin tabavnit, si tama ibaâden. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | অথচ তারা পূর্ব থেকে সত্যকে অস্বীকার করছিল। আর তারা সত্য হতে দূরে থেকে অজ্ঞাত বিষয়ের উপর মন্তব্য করত। |
| Literal | And they had disbelieved with (in) Him from before, and they throw/hurl with the unseen/hidden from a far/distant place/position. |

In this instance, the expression "from far away" is apparently used in a sense similar to sayings like "far off the mark" or "without rhyme or reason", and is meant to qualify as groundless and futile all negative speculations about what the Quran describes as al-ghayb ("that which is beyond the reach of human [or "a created being's"] perception"): in this case, life after death.] |
