| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[3:85] | Waman yabtaghi ghayra al-islamideenan falan yuqbala minhu wahuwa fee al-akhirati minaalkhasireena
|  ومن يبتغ غير الإسلام دينا فلن يقبل منه وهو في الآخرة من الخاسرين
وَمَن يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الْإِسْلاَمِ دِينًا فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ |
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| يبتغ - seeks| غير - other than| الإسلام - [the] Islam| دينا - (as) religion| فلن - then never| يقبل - will be accepted| منه - from him,| وهو - and he| في - in| الآخرة - the Hereafter,| من - (will be) from| الخاسرين - the losers.| |

| ከኢስላም ሌላ ሃይማኖትን የሚፈልግ ሰው ፈጽሞ ከርሱ ተቀባይ የለውም፡፡ እርሱም በመጨረሻይቱ ዓለም ከከሳሪዎቹ ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ومن يبتغ غير الإسلام دينا فلن يقبل منه وهو في الآخرة من الخاسرين } لمصيره إلى النار المؤبدة علية . |
| Win ib$an ddin, war annuz, ur ipwaqbal s$uôes. U neppa, di laxert, seg imexsuôen. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যে লোক ইসলাম ছাড়া অন্য কোন ধর্ম তালাশ করে, কস্মিণকালেও তা গ্রহণ করা হবে না এবং আখেরাতে সে ক্ষতি গ্রস্ত। |
| Literal | And who desires/wishes other than the Islam/submission/surrender (as) a religion, so (it) will never/not be accepted from him, and he (is) in the end from the losers. |
| Yusuf Ali | If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah), never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good). |
| Pickthal | And whoso seeketh as religion other than the Surrender (to Allah) it will not be accepted from him, and he will be a loser in the Hereafter. |
