بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [2:194] | Alshshahru alharamu bialshshahrialharami waalhurumatu qisasunfamani iAAtada AAalaykum faiAAtadoo AAalayhibimithli ma iAAtada AAalaykum waittaqoo AllahawaiAAlamoo anna Allaha maAAa almuttaqeena
| الشهر الحرام بالشهر الحرام والحرمات قصاص فمن اعتدى عليكم فاعتدوا عليه بمثل ما اعتدى عليكم واتقوا الله واعلموا أن الله مع المتقين الشَّهْرُ الْحَرَامُ بِالشَّهْرِ الْحَرَامِ وَالْحُرُمَاتُ قِصَاصٌ فَمَنِ اعْتَدَى عَلَيْكُمْ فَاعْتَدُواْ عَلَيْهِ بِمِثْلِ مَا اعْتَدَى عَلَيْكُمْ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللّهَ مَعَ الْمُتَّقِينَ |
Words | |الشهر - The month| الحرام - [the] sacred| بالشهر - (is) for the month| الحرام - [the] sacred,| والحرمات - and for all the violations| قصاص - (is) legal retribution.| فمن - Then whoever| اعتدى - transgressed| عليكم - upon you| فاعتدوا - then you transgress| عليه - on him| بمثل - in (the) same manner| ما - (as)| اعتدى - he transgressed| عليكم - upon you.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah| واعلموا - and know| أن - that| الله - Allah| مع - (is) with| المتقين - those who fear (Him).| |

| የተከበረው ወር በተከበረው ወር አንጻር ነው፡፡ ክብሮችም ሁሉ ተመሳሳዮች ናቸው፡፡ በእናንተም ላይ (በተከበረው ወር) ወሰን ያለፈባችሁን ሰው በናንተ ላይ ወሰን ባለፈው ብጤ በርሱ ላይ ወሰን እለፉበት፡፡ አላህንም ፍሩ አላህ ከሚፈሩት ጋር መኾኑንም ዕወቁ፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { الشهر الحرام } المحرم مقابل { بالشهر الحرام } فكلما قاتلوكم فيه فاقتلوهم في مثله رد لاستعظام المسلمين ذلك { والحرمات } جمع حرمة ما يجب احترامه { قصاص } أي يقتص بمثلها إذا انتهكت { فمن اعتدى عليكم } بالقتال في الحرم أو الإحرام أو الشهر الحرام { فاعتدوا عليه بمثل ما اعتدى عليكم } سمى مقابلته اعتداء لشبهها بالمقابل به في الصورة { واتقوا الله } في الانتصار وترك الاعتداء { واعلموا أن الله مع المتقين } بالعون والنصر . |
| Aggur iôqan s waggur iôqan. Tiririt n ppaô $ef wayen ippugedlen. Win ikwen id ibbwven, awvet ep, akken ikwen id ibbwev. Ëezzbet i Öebbi. Cfut ar Öebbi ar wid ipêezziben. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | সম্মানিত মাসই সম্মানিত মাসের বদলা। আর সম্মান রক্ষা করারও বদলা রয়েছে। বস্তুতঃ যারা তোমাদের উপর জবর দস্তি করেছে, তোমরা তাদের উপর জবরদস্তি কর, যেমন জবরদস্তি তারা করেছে তোমাদের উপর। আর তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং জেনে রাখ, যারা পরহেযগার, আল্লাহ তাদের সাথে রয়েছেন। |
Literal | The month, the forbidden/respected/sacred, with the month, the forbidden/respected/sacred, and the God's ordered prohibitions (are) equal revenge , so who transgressed/violated on you, so transgress/violate (revenge) on him with similar/equal (to) what he transgressed on you, and fear and obey God and know that God (is) with the fearing and obeying. |
Yusuf Ali | The prohibited month for the prohibited month,- and so for all things prohibited,- there is the law of equality. If then any one transgresses the prohibition against you, Transgress ye likewise against him. But fear Allah, and know that Allah is with those who restrain themselves. |
Pickthal | The forbidden month for the forbidden month, and forbidden things in retaliation. And one who attacketh you, attack him in like manner as he attacked you. Observe your duty to Allah, and know that Allah is with those who ward off (evil). |
Arberry | The holy month for the holy month; holy things demand retaliation. Whoso commits aggression against you, do you commit aggression against him like as he has committed against you, and fear you God, and know that God is with the godfearing. |
Shakir | The Sacred month for the sacred month and all sacred things are (under the law of) retaliation; whoever then acts aggressively against you, inflict injury on him according to the injury he has inflicted on you and be careful (of your duty) to Allah and know that Allah is with those who guard (against evil). |
Sarwar | It is because of their disrespect of a sacred month that you are also allowed to retaliate against them in a sacred month. If any one transgresses against you, you also may retaliate against them to an equal extent. Have fear of God and know that He supports the pious. |
H/K/Saheeh | [Fighting in] the sacred month is for [aggression committed in] the sacred month, and for [all] violations is legal retribution. So whoever has assaulted you, then assault him in the same way that he has assaulted you. And fear Allah and know that Allah is with those who fear Him. |
Malik | The Sacred month, in which fighting is prohibited, is to be respected if the same is respected by the enemy: sacred things too are subject to retaliation. Therefore, if anyone transgresses a prohibition and attacks you, retaliate with the same force. Fear Allah, and bear in mind that Allah is with the righteous.[194] |
Maulana Ali** | The sacred month for the sacred month, and retaliation (is allowed) in sacred things. Whoever then acts aggressively against you, inflict injury on him according to the injury he has inflicted on you and keep your duty to Allah, and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty. |
Free Minds | What is done in the restricted month may be retaliated in the same month, and murder shall be punishable by execution. Whoever attacks you, then you shall attack him the same as he attacked you; and be aware of God, and know that God is with the righteous. |
Qaribullah | The sacred month for the sacred month, prohibitions are (subject to) retaliation. If any one aggresses against you, so aggress against him with the likeness of that which he has aggressed against you. Fear Allah, and know that Allah is with the cautious. |

Asad | Fight during the sacred months if you are attacked: for a violation of sanctity is [subject to the law of] just retribution. Thus, if anyone commits aggression against you, attack him just as he has attacked you - but remain conscious of God, and know that God is with those who are conscious of Him. |
Khalifa** | During the Sacred Months, aggression may be met by an equivalent response. If they attack you, you may retaliate by inflicting an equitable retribution. You shall observe GOD and know that GOD is with the righteous. |

QXP Shabbir Ahemd** | A violation of sanctity will activate the Law of Just Recompense. So, one who attacks you (during the Sacred Months), attack him to an extent no more that he has aggressed against you. And be mindful of Allah and know that Allah is on the side of those who walk aright. |

| So olanolan a pagaadatan na pantag o olanolan a pagaadatan, - go so khipagaadatan, na makapkhikitasa. Na sa taw a pangorawan kano niyan na atowi niyo skaniyan sa lagid o kiyapangorawi niyan rkano. Go kalkn iyo so Allah, go tangkda niyo a mataan! a so Allah na babid o (tabang Iyan so) khipanananggila. |
