| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[16:63] | TaAllahi laqad arsalnaila omamin min qablika fazayyana lahumu alshshaytanuaAAmalahum fahuwa waliyyuhumu alyawma walahum AAathabunaleemun
|  تالله لقد أرسلنا إلى أمم من قبلك فزين لهم الشيطان أعمالهم فهو وليهم اليوم ولهم عذاب أليم
تَاللّهِ لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَى أُمَمٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُمُ الْيَوْمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ |
| Words | |تالله - By Allah,| لقد - certainly| أرسلنا - We have sent| إلى - to| أمم - nations| من - before you| قبلك - before you| فزين - but made fair-seeming| لهم - to them| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| أعمالهم - their deeds.| فهو - So he| وليهم - (is) their ally| اليوم - today,| ولهم - and for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful.| |

| በአላህ እንምላለን፤ ካንተ በፊት ወደ ነበሩት ሕዝቦች በእርግጥ (መልክተኞችን) ልከናል፡፡ ሰይጣንም ለእነርሱ ሥራዎቻቸውን ሸለመላቸው፡፡ እርሱም ዛሬ ረዳታቸው ነው፡፡ ለእነሱም (ኋላ) አሳማሚ ቅጣት አላቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { تالله لقد أرسلنا إلى أمم من قبلك } رسلاً { فزين لهم الشيطان أعمالهم } السيئة فرأوها حسنة فكذبوا الرسل { فهو وليهم } متولي أمورهم { اليوم } أي في الدنيا { ولهم عذاب أليم } مؤلم في الآخرة وقيل المراد باليوم يوم القيامة على حكاية الحال الآتية لا ولي لهم غيره وهو عاجز عن نصر نفسه فكيف ينصرهم . |
| S Öebbi, ni$ Nuzen ed, i leoyus, uqbel ik. Cciîan icebbeê asen igiten nnsen. Assa, d bab nnsen. I nitni, aâaqeb aqeôêan. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আল্লাহর কসম, আমি আপনার পূর্বে বিভিন্ন সম্প্রদায়ে রাসূল প্রেরণ করেছি, অতঃপর শয়তান তাদেরকে কর্ম সমূহ শোভনীয় করে দেখিয়েছে। আজ সেই তাদের অভিভাবক এবং তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি। |
| Literal | By God, We had sent to nations from before you, so the devil decorated/beautified for them their deeds, so he is their guardian/ally today, and for them (is) a painful torture. |
| Yusuf Ali | By Allah, We (also) sent (Our messengers) to Peoples before thee; but Satan made, (to the wicked), their own acts seem alluring: He is also their patron today, but they shall have a most grievous penalty. |
| Pickthal | By Allah, We verily sent messengers unto the nations before thee, but the devil made their deeds fairseeming unto them. So he is their patron this day, and theirs will be a painful doom. |
